for our  10 th Annual Trail Creek Fun Float!

This is the event that launched the Northwest Indiana Paddling Association! In celebration of the Indiana Bicentennial, the Trail Creek Fun Float has been selected as LaPorte County's final stop for the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay. Northwest Indiana Paddling Association President Dan Plath will be paddling with his son, Eric, the Indiana Bicentennial Torch down Trail Creek on the final leg of the Fun Float from the Trail Creek Marina to Washington Park. Paddlers are encouraged to join in the celebration of Indiana's 200th birthday by accompanying the torch down Trail Creek. At 6:00 PM, paddlers are invited to the after party at Michigan City's beautiful North Pointe Pavilion at Washington Park.

Washington Park Boat Ramp, Michigan City, IN

* Route: Up Trail Creek to Friendship Gardens and Back

* Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay Hand Off @ 5:30 PM

* Indiana  Bicentennial Celebration After Party - Washington Park North Pointe Pavilion @ 6:00 PM
